Description :
Kayakers paddle to designated locations around Manhasset Bay and collect raffle tickets to win prizes. Sponsored by the Community Chest of Port Washington, the North Shore Kayak Club, Atlantic Outfitters and the Town of North Hempstead Dept. of Community Services. All proceeds go to the Community Chest. Register at the Town Dock, Atlantic Outfitters, West Marine or download form from Town of North Hempstead website. Participants under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Raffle held at Town Dock at 1PM.

Barry Waller is a singer-songwriter who plays a variety of cover bands, engaging crowds of all ages. Orleans is a nationally recognized group with such hits as “You`re Still The One“ and “Dance With Me.“
The Residents For a More Beautiful Port Washington and the Town of North Hempstead present the Cinema on the Bay summer series. The movie is preceded by Sunset Yoga at 8PM.
The Polish American Cultural Assoc. sponsors Friday night dances. Admission is $14 which includes two coupons towards drinks, coffee, bagels and cake. Call 883-5553 for information.
Finish every week peacefully with Friday Morning Yoga led by Victoria Selbach. Held in the majestic setting of the Sands Point Preserve. In the winter, classes are held inside Hempstead House and in warmer weather, classes move to the Great Lawn. Preserve entrance fee is $10. Yoga is “Pay What You Wish.“

The Thomas Dodge House, circa 1721, is the oldest house in Port Washington and a living museum administered by the Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society. The Dodge House is open for guided tours on the fourth Sunday of the month. Admission is $2.50. For information call 767-3970.
