Port`s annual celebration of our waterfront and nautical heritage. craft fair, sails on Manhasset Bay, live music, Children`s Fun Park and Family Fun Stage, enviro-expo, organic farmers market, Art In The Park, new nautical exhibit in “tugboat“ museum, model boat regatta, pirate show, local vendors, fabulous food court and much more!
Midge Woolsey hosts Barry Levitt`s Standard Fair. What`s been happening for the last 25 years on the Great White Way? Hits like Cats, Rent, Hairspray, Grease, Les Miserable, Phantom of the Opera, Mama Mia and Jersey Boys lead the pack. Plus wonderful revivals like Guys and Dolls, The King and I, A Chorus Line, Caberet, Fiddler on the Roof and Chicago.

Sponsored by the Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington and the Town of North Hempstead. Curated by the School of Visual Arts. Visitors are encouraged to visit lower Main Street before and after the film. Local shops and restaurants will be offering extended hours, picnic dinner specials, free cocktail receptions and more.

The Thomas Dodge House, circa 1721, is the oldest house in Port Washington and a living museum administered by the Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society. It is open for guided tours from 1 to 5pm on the first Sunday of the month.Admission is $2.50. Located at 58 Harbor Road. Call 516-767-3970 for information.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Sands- Willets House, circa 1735, is the headquarters of the Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society. From May through October, it is open for guided tours of its 10 fully furnished rooms on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, from 2pm - 4pm. Also included is a tour of the 1600`s Dutch barn. Tours start at 2:15 and 3:15. Admission: $5 adults and $2.50 children under 12. Call 365-9074 for further information.
