The Not-So-Spooky Halloween Spook-tacular

Come in costume, for a special trick-or-treat, to this Halloween variety show that incorporates puppetry, magic and live action. This family-friendly event will leave you spellbound with side-splitting comedy and surprises.

Meet at Sunset Park for music by Bach To Rock and free Halloween bags to the first 300 children. Come in costume! Then go Trick or Treating to stores all along Main Street that display the special “Halloween On Main“ poster for free Halloween treats.

Presented by the Nassau County Office of Emergency Management and hosted by the Manorhaven Mayor and Board of Trustees. Discussion of what to do, what to have on hand, what goes into the County`s decision making and a look back at recent storms.
Finish every week peacefully with Friday Morning Yoga led by Victoria Selbach. Held in the majestic setting of the Sands Point Preserve. In the winter, classes are held inside Hempstead House and in warmer weather, classes move to the Great Lawn. Preserve entrance fee is $10. Yoga is “Pay What You Wish.“

The Thomas Dodge House, circa 1721, is the oldest house in Port Washington and a living museum administered by the Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society. The Dodge House is open for guided tours on the fourth Sunday of the month. Admission is $2.50. For information call 767-3970.
