Finish every week peacefully with Friday Morning Yoga led by Victoria Selbach. Held in the majestic setting of the Sands Point Preserve. In the winter, classes are held inside Hempstead House and in warmer weather, classes move to the Great Lawn. Preserve entrance fee is $10. Yoga is “Pay What You Wish.“

The Cow Neck Peninsula Society presents guided historical tours of the Port Washington waterfront. Learn about Port`s shell fishing industry, sand mining, local aviation and the development of the waterfront. Reservations are required and may be made online at www.cowneck.org or on their FaceBook page. The fee is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors 65+ and $1 for kids 12 and under. Children in strollers or backpacks are free.
The Thomas Dodge House, circa 1721, is the oldest house in Port Washington and a living museum administered by the Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society. The Dodge House is open for guided tours on the fourth Sunday of the month. Admission is $2.50. For information call 767-3970.
